Here is an example of some of the tours we can offer:
For a ‘quick visit’ (1 hour visit): £2.50 per head
One of our guides will meet you for a quick overview of the history of Killhope and then take you to the Spar Box and Mineral exhibition room to answer your questions. You will just have time to wander over to the wheel or have a look in the mine shop before returning to the coach.
‘Slightly longer to linger’ (2 hour visit): £4.50 per head max 48 people
Everything above, this tour also includes a short guided Mine Trip down Park Level Mine.
Full 3 Hour tour: £6.50 per head – Max 100 people
You will be divided in to a number of smaller groups and your very own award winning friendly guide will to take you all around the site; wheel and ramp, jigger house, lodging shop, washing floor, historic site, current exhibition and permanent exhibitions and a full Mine Tour.
If you have a group that enjoys outside talks, we can also send a member of staff. Like our tours on site - off site talks can cover different topics - please contact us with your requirements.
