Wildlife
Killhope, with its surrounding countryside, is teaming with wildlife. We have reservoirs where you can do pond ecology and learn about the creatures that live there. In the woodland, you can discover who has made their home there. Take a Sam Squirrel Backpack around the woods with you. The backpacks have been specially designed for families with lots activities to do.
Some of the wildlife is only prevalent during certain months, such as dragon flies, frogs and of course the dreaded midge. But others like the Birds and the Red Squirrels are there to enjoy all year long.
