August 2015 

Woodland Sculpture

Sunday 2 August, 1 30pm, £4.00 per child.

National Play Day

Wednesday 5 August, Children FREE with full paying adult or valid 12 month ticket. Lots of fun, crafts, Family Tea Cups and Saucer Ride, Sand Play and lots more.

Kids Spar Box Workshop

Sunday 9 August, 1.30pm, £8.00 per child. Kids Visit the minerals and Spar Boxes in our collection and be inspired to make your own creation to take home. All materials supplied. Keep this very special folk craft alive! Booking recommended.

Sun 16 August, free.

Victorian Day Out.

Sun 23 August. Victorian games, Shuggie Boats, trip down the Victorian mine, dressing up in Victorian clothes and much more. Regrettably children under 4 years old are not allowed underground.

Hazely Hush

Sat 29 August, 1.30pm. A free guided walk into Killhopes’ woodland environment. The hush will be explored, ancient mining techniques discussed and a chance to see our rare Red Squirrels. This is not a gentle stroll so stout footwear is essential.

‘Letters to Santa’

Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November, £5.00 per person special admission price only write your letters to Santa and them delivered by highly trained and responsible owls.
