A search for things that go bump in the night will send shivers down people’s spines at an award-winning North East visitor attraction this Hallowe’en.
Killhope – The North of England Lead Mining Musuem – is inviting brave souls to join a ghost hunt on October 31.
The event will be led by Killhope staff along with a professional group of paranormal investigators.
During the night-time investigation the team will be using an array of specialist equipment, including electronic meters to measure any supernatural activity that takes place.
Maureen Murray, Visitor Services Officer at Killhope, said: “This will be a very special Hallowe’en experience where visitors will be taken on a nocturnal tour of some of the scarier parts of the site and the mine.
“It’s definitely not for the faint-hearted.”
The three-hour event is suitable for over-16s only and there are limited places, which must be booked in advance.
Tickets are priced £25 and the visit will include a Hallowe’en supper in the museum’s café.
To book tickets people should call 01388 537505.
