Learn to photograph the night sky from one of the darkest locations in the North Pennines. Join Gary Lintern, and his expert team, for a highly practical three-hour introduction to photographing the night sky.
This workshop will take place on a moonless night, so it will be possible to see and photograph the Milky Way, as long as the sky remains clear enough. No astrophotography experience necessary. You just need to be able to change the shutter speed, aperture and ISO on your camera. We’ll take care of the rest for you. You’ll need a camera with manual controls, such as a DSLR, and a tripod. Everything else will be provided. Wrap up warm and bring a red-light torch (if you have one).
Pre-booking is required (£35 each)
This event is part of the North Pennines Stargazing Festival 2017, organised by the AONB Partnership.
