Enjoy some of the darkest skies in the North Pennines.
Experienced astronomers (from the North Pennines Astronomy Society and Sunderland Astronomical Society) will be on hand to show you around the night sky, using a range of powerful telescopes and other astronomy equipment. All ages are welcome, and admission is free.
Food and drink will be available from the museum cafe, throughout the event. Wrap up warm and bring a red-light torch (if you have one).
No need to book – just turn up.
